. .

~ .
,-"_" - I

HYDROSS MODEL FLOW CHART NOTES
May 14, 1987

NOTES:
EB - Environmental baseline condition
S ; Ruedi II/Green Mountain Reservoir sales condition
GAINS ; Either return flows or tributary inflows
LOSSES; All other losses (ie. Transportation, Minor
Diversions) other than those identified as demand
points in the model.

1. The government highline diversion at Station # 95,500
reflects only water for Orchard Mesa agriculture and
the Grand Valley area north and west of the river. It
excludes any delivery for Orchard Mesa power or pump
power at this node.

2. Return flows lagged with 85 percent returning in the
same month, 10 percent in the second month and 5
percent in the third month after.

3. Unchecked flows return at node 110,000.

OBSERVATIONS:

A. Inflow to Cameo with sales would be 9,770 a.f. less
than without sales in August. 1961.

B. The amount of flow checked back is increased by about
9,870 a.f. from 17,720 a.f. to 27,590 a.f.

C. Most of the impacts at Cameo result from Green mountain
sales rather than Ruedi.

D. Green Mountain sales result in 9,200 a.f. less water at
Dotsero.

E. The check back operates okay.

-3-
