Mr. Brosz <br /> <br /> <br />heads up the farm management services offered by this company out of <br /> <br /> <br />their McCook, Nebraska, office, These services include recommendations <br /> <br /> <br />for irrigation amount and timing, <br /> <br /> <br />(4) Mr. Rich Drew, Toups Corporation, Loveland. Mr. Drew, Project <br /> <br /> <br />Engineer, is working on a related drought program, Conjunctive Surface <br /> <br />Water/Ground Water Management Plan for Drought Relief in the South Platte <br /> <br /> <br />River Basin. <br /> <br />(5) Dr. Dale Heermann, Agricultural Research Service, Fort Collins. <br /> <br /> <br />Dr. Heermann has been working for several years on the management of <br /> <br /> <br />center-pivot irrigation systems. <br /> <br /> <br />(6) Mr. Earl Hess, Soil Conservation Service, Denver. Mr. Hess <br /> <br /> <br />is using the SCS Irrigation Methods Analysis (IRMA) computer program, <br /> <br /> <br />the analysis and design of irrigation systems in the study area and other <br /> <br /> <br />areas of Colorado, <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />(7) Mr. Keith Keppler, Toups Corporation, Loveland. Mr. Keppler <br /> <br /> <br />has been working on a water management study near Loveland and has <br /> <br />obtained field data on efficiencies. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />(8) Dr. Eugene Maxwell, Colorado State University. Dr, Maxwell, <br /> <br /> <br />Associate Professor of Earth Resources, has used satellite data in studies <br /> <br /> <br />of the use of center-pivot irrigation systems in the study area. <br /> <br /> <br />(9) Mr. Charles Mitchell, Soil Conservation Service, retired. Mr. <br /> <br /> <br />Mitchell was irrigation engineer for the South Platte River valley and <br /> <br /> <br />had many years of field experience with irrigation. <br /> <br /> <br />(10) Mr, Earl Phipps, Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District. <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. Phipps, Director, is familiar with the ditch systems in the study area. <br /> <br /> <br />(11) Mr. Elwin Ross, Soil Conservation Service, Greeley. Mr. Ross <br />is Area Engineer for the study area, <br /> <br /> <br />(12) Mr. LeRoy Salazar, Colorado State University. Mr. Salazar is <br /> <br /> <br />a master's candidate in the Department of Agricultural and Chemical Engi- <br /> <br /> <br />neering. He directed a comprehensive study on farm irrigation efficiencies <br /> <br /> <br />which was conducted on a farm near Lucerne (north of Greeley) during the <br /> <br />summer of 1977. <br /> <br />-26- <br />
