The October 1993 draft ~lologlcal Opinion . <br />on the Operation of Glen Canyon Dam states that the Service anticipates <br />incidental take of the Kanab ambersnail (Service 1993). <br /> <br />2. Acquire the habitat of the Three Lakes population and acquire and/or <br />protect other habitat suitable to the long term viability of the Kanab <br />ambersnail. <br /> <br />3: Inventory suitable habitat for Kanab ambersnail to determine existing <br />population density and distribution of the species as well as potential <br />recovery sites. <br /> <br />4. Determine the biological and ecological factors critical to the species <br />conservation. <br /> <br />5.
