Proposed plans of federal, state and local agencies, <br /> <br />and private concerns and industries should be evaluated in terms <br /> <br />of the aforementioned objectives, and if appropriate, should be <br /> <br />included. <br /> <br />Alternative Plans <br /> <br />The foreseeable available water supplies within the <br /> <br />state will not be sufficient to meet the long-range requirements. <br /> <br />Therefore, the plan formulation should evaluate desirable alterna- <br /> <br />tives and measure the prospects for augmentation of the available <br /> <br />water supplies. Supplemental sources to be considered include <br /> <br />weather modification, reuse and recycling, watershed management, <br /> <br />. <br />geoUlermal and desalting brackish water. <br /> <br />Coordination <br /> <br />Coordination with all interested state and federal <br /> <br />agencies and local interests is very important to the orderly <br /> <br />accomplishment of this study. The Colorado Water Conservati0n <br /> <br />Board will be responsible for coordination of studies by state <br /> <br />agencies and local interests and will keep the Regional Offices <br /> <br />of the' Bureau of Reclamation informed of programs and progress. <br /> <br />Region 7 of the Bureau of Reclamation has responsibility for <br /> <br />coordination with Regions 4 and 5 of the Bureau of Reclmation and <br /> <br />other federal agencies.
