9 tonight, and give you some high-lights and present them to you.

The Colorado River Board of California, is the

11 California State Agency that has been delegated by the LegiSa-

12 ture, to represent Californias rights and intentions in the

rl

13 Colorado River. Rights of not only the State itself, but also

14 the States Agencies, and also the States citizens.

15 As such, the Board is interested in and concerned in

16 all of the aspectes of the natural resources of the Colorado

17 River to California,

18 The hydroelectric power generated by the rivers water

19 is a reliable source of peaking power for million~ of Californi

20 residences, and especially in these days of oil shortage, it's

21 energy, of course, is of estimable value.

22 And Southern Californias also enjoys ~e recreation-

23 al attractions which unique, are unique in having such value.

24 All river and lakes in an area of environment, and the major

25 dams, of course, provide significant flood control benefits to
