2 hand, we have to admit, we are some what confused by the econo-

3 mic comparison that was given for the various plans given in

4 Table 2, particularly in view of the value of the MWD diver-

5 sions.

6 We hoped that sometime we could get together wit~

7 the Corps~d the Bureau, and go over these in some more detail.

8 In addition of being confused, with the exception

9 of Plan 8, we also thought that the relative differences m the

10 overall net benefits appear to be almost negligible. When we

11 are talking about matters of a hugdred or two hundred thousand

12 dollars -- projects that have multi-million dollar benefits.

13 That completes what I have to say, and I'd like to

14

thank Colonel Keys', Mr, Mason, and this chance to testify

15 and we hope that we continue to work with you on such a study

16 that will involve the Colorado River.

some of the plans we have do, indeed examine the possibility

22

of smaller January I storages, and also, increase downstream

23 channel capacity.
