These are generally of a nature that require a <br />tull day, or more, but they should give local citizens <br />an opportunity to see at first hand some of the area <br />under consideration. <br /> <br />Many re~dents, of course, are already familiar <br />with the areas to be covered but the trips will provide <br />information on the methods used by the Forest <br />Service in making determinations for recomp I <br />mendations. , <br /> <br />The trips do come during the weekdays and this <br />will make it impossible for many ordinary citizens to <br />participate but there will be several that can take the <br />trips. This is a first hand opportunity for interested <br />parties and certainly if more people get involved this <br />will result in more consideration of various factors. <br /> <br />Anyone interested should plan to go.
