This study is [0 de'lermine if the Piedra River is suitable for addition to . the Nationo1l1 Wild and Scenic River System. Congress directed it to cover the Piedra River from Highway 160 upstream to its sources including the Middle Fork, East Fork. and tributaries u:d headwaters on National Forest lands. This encompasses over 237.000 acte'i. euending from Highway 160 on the south to the Continental Divide on the north.
