Attached to this letter is the preliminary report describing <br />the field investigations, plan of development, estimates, and con- <br />clusions for the potential Braziel Reservoir on the North Platte <br />Project in Nebraska, There arc no appendixes to the report. The <br />supporting data are on file in the North Platte River District Office <br />in Casper, Wyomine. <br /> <br />AUTHORITY FOR THE REPORT <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />2. This report is authorized to be made by virtue of the Federal <br />Reclamation Laws (Act of J,Ule 17, 1902, 32 Stat. 388 and acts amend- <br />atory thereof or supplementary thereto). <br /> <br />COOPERATION Ai'!IJ ACRlI'O''1EDGErENTS <br /> <br />J. Helpful assistance has been received from the Gering & <br />Ft. Laramie Irrigation District in Nebraska and from the Gos)len <br />Irrigation District in rlyoI!ling. 'i"hese two districts comprise the <br />Ft. Laramie Division of the North Platte Project. . Valuable infor- <br />mation was supplied by the County Assessor, Scotts Bluff County, <br />Nebraska. taterial from reports prepared by the Fish and Wildlife <br />Service and by the National Par~ Service have been incorporated <br />herein. Copies of this report have been sent to regional offices of <br />other Federal agencies having a practical interest in the report, to <br />officials of the States of Colorado, Nebraska, and Wyoming, and to <br />the affected irrigation districts for review in accordance with <br />provisions of the Flood Control Act of 1944 (58 stat. 887) and <br />Public Law 732 of the 79th Congress (60 Stat. 1080), Comments from <br />these agencies are bound in the back of the Substantiating Report. <br /> <br />. . ~ .Jp'::=._d-i.:-:. <br /> <br />POTENTIAL DEVELOPMENT <br /> <br />e) <br /> <br />4.
