<br />mitted on land within Glacier National Park.

<br />Commercial developments Inthin the River Management Zone would be
<br />evaluated with those lando\mers having plans for such future develop-
<br />ment at the til!le scenic easements were negotiated. Commercial ease-
<br />ments would include special provisIons as follows:
<br />
<br />a. Commercial enterprises Iwuld be limited to those associated with
<br />a commercial campground. For example, individual camping units
<br />could be provided "ith a central building containing such
<br />f~cilities as showers, store, and laundry.
<br />
<br />b, New or additional structures I-]Quld have to be in accordance with
<br />architectural and site plans approved by the Forest Service.
<br />
<br />c. Should commercial ca~pgroun~ developments be determined appro-
<br />priate, they would have to be located outside the immediate
<br />foreground of the river and well screened from the rive, view.
<br />
<br />d. Exterior flashing lights, ne0~ cignL, and exterior signs "ith
<br />internal lighting lIould not be permicted.
<br />
<br />e. Advertising signs and billboards would be limited to one on-
<br />premise sig~ and to desiGnated sign plazas.
<br />
<br />5. The administering agency, in this case ti,e Forest .Service, could inspect
<br />for viclations of the tel~S of a scenic casement, but only after advance
<br />notice had been given to the landOlmer.
