Specific items addressed in the study <br />were: <br /> <br />1. . Pote!1tial locations have been identified for supplemental <br />grou~d water withdrawals to supplement irrigated agriculture <br />within the Reach (including the Beebe Draw). <br /> <br />2. The potential impact of short term emergency ground water <br />with~rawal upon the interrelated surface flow and the <br />alluvial aquifer has been assessed (general evaluation). <br /> <br />3. VariQus potential emergency drought programs or scenarios <br />haveibeen developed, screened and the most viable scenarios <br />described in detail. <br /> <br />Most of the basic data (canal locations, irrigated areas and well locations) <br />have been compiled on the base maps provided through the Division of. Water <br />Resources. V~rious recommendations have been proposed for future programs <br />and investigations to resolve in more detail the interaction of the South <br />Platte River $ystem and the alluvial aquifer. <br /> <br />We appreqiate the excellent cooperation provided by the Colorado Division: <br />of ~Iater Resources' staff, the U.S.G.S. staff and the various ditch companies' <br />during the course of the study.
