The report presents the findings and accumulated data base that were generated in the course of the study. Specific items addressed in the study were: 1. . Pote!1tial locations have been identified for supplemental grou~d water withdrawals to supplement irrigated agriculture within the Reach (including the Beebe Draw). 2. The potential impact of short term emergency ground water with~rawal upon the interrelated surface flow and the alluvial aquifer has been assessed (general evaluation). 3. VariQus potential emergency drought programs or scenarios haveibeen developed, screened and the most viable scenarios described in detail. Most of the basic data (canal locations, irrigated areas and well locations) have been compiled on the base maps provided through the Division of. Water Resources. V~rious recommendations have been proposed for future programs and investigations to resolve in more detail the interaction of the South Platte River $ystem and the alluvial aquifer. We appreqiate the excellent cooperation provided by the Colorado Division: of ~Iater Resources' staff, the U.S.G.S. staff and the various ditch companies' during the course of the study.
