Power and Hater Contracts. Power contracts have been <br />-_.- <br />executed wi th Hoover Dum allottees to sell them the generation of the <br />Hoover Powerplant. The pover contracts last for a perIod of 50 years <br />which ends on Hay 31, 1987. These contrncts are the hasiA for repayment: <br />of the Iloulder Canyon proj ec t. <br /> <br />Power contracts have also been c.xecuted wlth preference custotnf'rs <br />in the Colorado River Basin area for purchase of power and energy <br />available from the Colorado River Storage Project. Power contracts <br />have been executed vith customers in the Lower Basin for purchase of <br />pover and energy available from the Parker-Davis Project. <br /> <br />Hater contracts for the Lower Basin pursuant to Section 5 of the <br />Boulder Canyon Project Act are as follows: <br /> <br />California Agenciell - In the aggregate amount of 5,362,000 <br />acre-feet per year. <br /> <br />State of Arizona - 2,800,000 acre-feet per year plus one-half <br />of sny excess of surplus ,mter unapportioned hy the <br />Colorado River Compact. <br /> <br />Stat" of Nevada - JOO,OOO acre-feet per year. <br /> <br />2 <br />
