19

.

10~8

Table 4 is a tabulation of water year 1974 proposed operation of
Turquoise Lake, and exhibit 7 is a graph of this operation.

Western Slope Collection System

.

There are five diversion points complete on the 1-lestern slope:
Sa1-lyer Creek, Chapman Gulch, South Fork of the Fryingpan River,
Fryingpan River at Marten Creek, and Lily Pad. Transmountsin
diversions at these points will be regulated to the end that no
diversions 1-lill be made that will reduce remaining aggregate
streamflo1-ls to less than those minimum standards contained in
the Fryingpan-Arkansas Project Operating Principles. For
planning purposes, data from our collection system yield, and
sizing studies 1-lere used to determine the diversions in 1974.
The 10-, 50-, and 90-percent chance values were obtained from the
probability curve sho1-ln on exhibit 2 and are considered to repre-
sent the reasonable minimum, most probable, and reasonable maximum
diversions, respectively. It is intended that, throughout the
year, all 1-later that is physically available above the minimum
fish bypass requirements will be diverted.

.
