6.6.1 Lel!end Mode

There are two types of information you can display while using the Field and Farm Editor dialog
window:

I. Croo Tvoe - This selection displays the information in the active view by crop type. This mode can
be used to change the crop types for a farm.

2, Farm Descriotion - This mode is used to ~ssociate fields a farm. You can add the selected field to
an existing farm or add the selected fields to a new farm with the Farm Description Options,

6.6.2 Set selected fields to crou

This function allows you to change the crop type (i.e., from corn to beans),

], Make sure the theme you are editing is active and visible. Click once on the Select II tool.

2, Using the mouse, select the fields that you want to change. You do not need to be precisenjust make
sure you get portions of the fields you want into the selection (Be careful not to select portions of
fields you do not want!). The fields that you selected will be highlighted.

3. Using the crop type pull-down field, select the new crop type,

4, Save these changes by pressing the Update button.

6.6.3 Farm Descriution Outions

This function gives you two options: or select fields and save them as an existing farm, select fields and
save them as a new farm.

1. Click once on the Select II tool. Select the fields that you want to assign to a farm.
2. Select Crop Layer Edits> Edit Crop Theme.
3, Under Farm Description Options, choose the option you want by clicking on the radio buttons.
