<br />The NGA held a two-day forum on Clean Water Act
<br />(CWA) reauthorization last week. A letter from Arizona
<br />Governor Symington and Nebraska Governor Nelson
<br />invited state policy and technical representatives "to
<br />;, ~et with qQl)gressional and administration officials,
<br />review the states' position in light of the recent House
<br />aQlfon [passinglH RSM}, and prepare for action on clean
<br />water in ,the SlInate." However, the Bureau of National
<br />Affairs 'feports that the Clinton Administration does not
<br />expect the CWA to be reauthorized during the 104th
<br />Congress, due to wide disagreements on the issues.
