applied in September with the final irrigation made in mid-October, and trickle =
daily irrigation using a trickle system until September 1, at which time each tree
was limited to 60 gal. per week. ~ lb. of urea per tree was inj ected into the
trickle irrigation system on October 23, the last irrigation of the year.

Y Each value is the T50 calculated from the mean of three observations for each deep-
freeze temperature treatment. Only temperatures with means bet~/een 10 and 90% tissue
survival were used in T50 calculations since the response curves are linear between
these 2 points,
