. Pueblo Reservoir Enlargement- The wetland loss at the upper end of the reservoir
would need to be mitigated. Impacts on birds would need to be considered. The wetland
may be a high intensity wildlife area that has been mapped by Dave Level and Bruce
Goforth of CDOW. Mitigation of the upper reach may be tough, it is best observed
1 "50 from the north side off Highway 96.
. Gravel Lakes Storage- Issues include conversion ofriparian habitat to open water
surface and the possible impacts to the Prebbles mouse.
. Williams Creek Reservoir- Issues include Plovers and prairie dogs.
3. The FERC and USFWS should be added to the permitting list.
4. Funding for USFWS activities will need to be provided by the USBR under the USFWS
coordination act. A transfer fund agreement and Memo of Understanding with the USBR will
need to be executed covering who does what, the cost, and the schedule.
5. If there are opportunities to improve species habitat especially for the Greenback Trout and
the Terns and Plovers they should be considered.

2

"_ ..w. . ..... ...., -..
