As <br />a result of the accumulated deficiency, the annual run-off at <br />Oto~i Bridge, adjusted for the operation of El 1ado Reservoir, <br />~as the lo~est of record; also the nine year accumulated flow <br />at Oto~i is the lo~est of any other such period since 1892. <br /> <br />Accuracy of Records <br /> <br />The Rules end Regulations of the Commission state that the <br />equipment, method, end frequency of measurements at each gaging <br />station shall be sufficient to obtain records at least equal in <br />accuracy' to those classified as "good" by the U.S. Geological <br />Survey. Within the physical limitations of stream gaging the <br />agencies obtaining the records at Compact gaging stations has <br />complied ~ith these regulations. <br /> <br />Each station description includes a statement concerning the <br />accuracy of that record. "Excellent" indicates that, in general, <br />the daily records are accurate within 5 percent; "good", ~ithin <br />10 percent; "fair", within 15 percent; "poor", 16 or greater <br />percent. These stendards of accuracy are the same as those follo~- <br />ed by the U. S. Geological Survey. <br /> <br />.:,' <br /> <br />Ackno~ledgement. <br /> <br />The ~ater supply data contained in this report have been <br />furnished by various Federal and State Agencies. <br /> <br />The office of the State Engineer of Colorado furnished re- <br />cords of discharge for the follo~ing: <br /> <br />Rio Grande near Del Norte, Colorado <br />Rio Grende near Lobatos, Colorado <br />Conejos River near Mogote, Colorado <br />Conejos River near Los Sauces, Colorado <br />San Antonio River at Ortiz, Colorado <br />Los Pinos River near Ortiz, Colorado <br /> <br /><.: <br /> <br />Records of Trensmountain Diversions and of storage in <br />Reservoir No.2, Squaw Lake, and Fuchs Reservoir ~ere <br />by the office of the State Engineer of Colorado. <br /> <br />Troutvale <br />al so suppli ed <br /> <br /> <br />The U.S. Geological Survey supplied the reoord for Rio Grande <br />below Elephant Butte Dam and, in cooperation ~ith the Ne~ Mexico <br />Interstate Streams Commission, also furnished the follo~ing re- <br />cords: <br /> <br />~;. <br />"-'." <br /> <br />J" <br /> <br />,'....,.' <br /> <br />Rio Grande at Oto~i Bridge near San Ildefonso, New Mexico <br /> <br /> <br />i: <br /> <br />.;- <br /> <br />,.;..' <br />
