- 2 -

of diversion of Aggregate of ~fuin River Ditches in

Water District 67, in Colorado, 1908 through 1954,

(~ were used along with records for the same period

l\;) for the Fort Lyon Canal and the Fort Lyon Storage
~
...... Canal. l?ecords for all the above are in r'cLauthlin' s
C,l,')
Arkansas l?iver file except later years of record
for the Fort Lyon Storage Canal, diversions of which
were extrac.ted from the Annual I~eports of the Fort

Lyon Canal Company. These Annual .i\'eports from 1952-55

were not available at the time of this writing, but

records of change in storage indicate no change in

storage of tributary reservoirs after 1952, so error

introduced by the lack of record for the Fort Lyon

Storage Canal for 1951-54 is not considered significant

since this canal diverts directly to Horse Creek

and Adobe Creek Reservoirs only.

1~e flow of the Arkansas River at the State Line

was evaluated by the Sum of Arkansas River at Holly,

Wild Horse Creek at Holly and Holly Drain for earlier

years and by the sum of Arkansas River at Coolidge, Kansas

plus Fron.tier Ditch for later years.

Accretions, Caddoa to State Line, were determined

by taking the state line flow plus diversions in Water

District 67 minus the flow at Caddoa (or below John

]\fa rtin I~e se rvoi r) .

All of the above records were evaluated and

~abulated by months from 1908 through 1955.
