Principal features besides Thornburgh Reservoir would be East and West Milk Creek laterals which would divert from Milk Creek and serve lands to the east and west in Axial Basin; Morapos Feeder Canal which would divert from Morapos Creek would convey water to Thornburgh Reservoir for storage. .
