<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Agreement <br /> <br />Following intense negotiations, Representative Brown was able to <br />announce that both environmentalists and water development interests had <br />agreed on the language and had accepted the compromise bill. Because of <br />the extremely delicate balance of interests by all parties, it is <br />imperative that his language be unamended in any material aspect as it <br />passes through the legislative process. Any attempt by either interest <br />group to modify materially the agreed upon language would be looked upon as <br />a breach of faith and would result in the destruction of the cooperative <br />coalition.
