Specifically, the Secretary is autho- <br /> <br />rized to construct, operate, and maintain four salinity control projects <br /> <br />(the Paradox Valley Unit, Colorado; the Grand Valley Basin Unit, <br /> <br />Colorado; the Crystal Geyser Unit, Utah; and the Las Vegas Wash Unit; <br /> <br />Nevada) and to expedite completion of planning reports on twelve other <br /> <br />salinity control projects. Seventy-five percent of the estimated $l25, 1 <br /> <br />million cost of these upstream developments will be funded by the federal <br /> <br />government.
