These values

were calculated from Udis and the OBERS projection. These values are

not intended to be absolute or complete, rather they merely represent

an order of magnitude and a relative measure for comparison. In many

cases data was not available for analysis. It is intended that additional

data will be collected for the final report.

Evaluation of Table IIl-7 indicates that municipal (domestic) use is

the dominant single use in the Upper Basin (excluding agriculture).

Basins l40l, l403, l405, and l407 in the Upper Basin appear to be the

predominant municipal (domestic) users of water. Basin l40S appears

to have a significantly lower municipal (domestic) use than do the other

basins.

The major industrial or manufacturing uses of water appear to be

10cated in Basins 1405 and l407, while Basins l40l, l402, l406, and

140S appear to have a relatively small industrial or manufacturing water

requirement. However, data were unavailable for many of the manufac-

turing and industrial categories when Table IIl-7 was compiled and

therefore these conclusions could change as additional data are analyzed.

Evaluation of Table lll-S indicates that in the Lower Basin municipal

49

l'
