Dear Kenl

Attached hereto are copies of the curves used
to estimate the delllAnds in Water Distriot 61. You '
had previously furnished us with prints of the April'
and May curves, but I traoed them lUIyway jut in case
you couldn't locate the oriqinals.

October diversions of the three main ditches '
for the period 1941-1950 averaqed 22,000 acre feet and"
this amount was considered to be the demand for that.
month exoept that actual diversion records were used
when there was water stored in John Martin reservoir.

It is noted, that in June 1951 the departure
from normal temperature was oomputed from the llveraqe
of Holly and Lu Animas temperatures. It was our
opinion when the curves were drawn that the depart.re
from normal at Lamar that month was excess he for that
section of the basin and not Ii hue index to be \lsed
as a function of diversion demands.

Normal temperatures at Lamar UBed in developinq
the curves are I
June - - - 73.3 defrees
July - - - 18.5
August - - 11.2 ·
September ~ 68.8 ·

Thank you for turnishin; us the tabulation of
estimates of divertible flow for the Fryinqpan Diversion.

Very buly yours, ,
