MWSI Project
Phase II Conjunctive Use Summary Report - DRAFT

August 22, 1995

surface supplies, Borrowing can then begin again assuming surface reservoir storage is above
the specified minimum.

Model Output

Output from the model is available in tabular or graphical fonnat. Since the system is
evaluated based upon the response of certain parameters over the period of record, the graph
output is very useful. The output includes graphs of the following all plotted monthly versus the
period of record:

Monthly Surface Water Supply Volumes
. Deliveries to Conjunctive Use Demands
. Surface System Storage
. Aquifer Depletions
. Conjunctive Use Debt
. Conjunctive Use Payback
. Groundwater Pumping
. Conjunctive Use Reservoir Storage

Monthly surface water supply volumes, both before and after conjunctive use, are shown
in graphic fonn, Deliveries to conjunctive use demands shows water supplies delivered from
surface supplies, borrowing, groundwater and from the conjunctive use reservoir.

Surface system storage shows the volume in the surface storage system, Aquifer
depletions shows the net depletion in the groundwater system, The conjunctive use debt shows
the net of depletions (borrowing) and additions (groundwater paybacks) to the surface water
system, Conjunctive use payback shows the timing and source of paybacks for borrowing from
surface storage.

Finally, groundwater pumping is shown over time to indicate how often the groundwater
system is in operation. Similarly, the graph of recharge indicates how often the recharge system
operates.

51
