Water allooated to Mexioo by the provisions
of the Treaty (III (0) water under the
Compaot)

1,1500,000

7.

Remainder to be allooated after 1963
under the provisions of Artiole
III (f) of the Compaot (minimum)

631,000

The III (f) water in the above table was estimated on the assumption that
the Lower Basin would reoeive oredit for return flow reaohing the river below
Imperial Dwn. If the Lower Basin should not reoeive oredit for suoh return
flow, the III (f) water would be inoreased by over 1,000,000 aore-feet. The
III (f) water also would,be inoreased by any inorease in the salvage of water.

It is oonol~ed that reservoirs whioh will be oonstruoted and operated in
the Colorado River Baein under ultimate oonditions will have suffioient oapaoity
to equate fully the flow of the river to the average indioated in the table.

.
.

9. Present oontraots for the purohase of eleotrioal energy generated at
Boulder Dam will not be advereely affeoted by the treaty. On the other hand,
the amount of firm energy that oan be generated in periods of low runoff might
be inoreased by the terms of the treaty.

.
,,'

10.
