Hack~tt Smartt seconded the motion. Motion carried. The report of the Assessment Committee was: "WE, THE Committee on Assessments. do recommend the lev..,.' immediately of the following assessments: An assessment of $3.60 per share. payable as follows: $1.80 due April I, 1974 and delinquent May 1, 1974. $1.80 due Seplember 1, 1974 ,and delinquent October 1, 1974. This committee recommends the passing of the follo......ing resolution: "BE IT RESOLVED, that the Stockholders authorize the Board of Directors to borrow from the Wichita Bank Cor Cooperatives, or any other bank, funds necessary to take care of any major damage or emergencies on the ditches or structures of the system caused by Doods, or for any other reason unforeseen to us, you the committee and the stockholders." The report was adopted unanimously as read. The Resolution Committee reported as follows: I ~ RESOLUTION .. BE IT RESOLVED, that the stockholders oCthe Amity Mutual Irrigation Company do extend our most sincere sympathies to the Families and Relatives of Ralph Massar, Anna F. Gurley, David Vagher, Ernestine Vagher, Primo Passini who have become deceased the past year. We have enjoyed working with these. our members, as coworkers for our system and in our community and their contributions to their communities will be forever remembered. Be it further resolved, that copies of this resolution shall be given to the newspapers and sent to their Camilies as a token of our respect." P3
