An unused bunk house at Hay- <br />field camp was remodeled into a recreation hall. The sewage dis- <br />posal system at Eagle Mountain camp was enlarged and extended <br />and an adequate spreading ground constructed at some distance <br />from the camp. <br />The Southern Califol'llia Edison Company installed a carrier cur- <br />rent system of load control and communication over the joint <br />District-Edison transmission line between Hoover Dam and Hay- <br />field and on its own line between Hayfield "nd the Highgrove sub- <br />station near Riverside_ The Edison Comp"ny and the Caliiol'llia <br />Electric Power Company installed a substation at Eagle Mountain <br />plant and a 33-kv transmission line to the iron mine of the Kaiser <br />Company, located about five miles to the west. and are supplying <br />energy to the mine from the District-Edison joint transmission line <br />through District facilities, pursuant to an agreement between Edi- <br />
