The well owners guarantee the District an annual <br />water supply of 3,000 acre-feet. The total storage capacity of the <br />District's system is 2.1 million gallons. The only treatment of the <br />water supply is chlorination. <br /> <br />d. Stratmoor Hills <br /> <br />The Stratmoor Hills Water District obtains its water supply from <br />one well with an estimated average annual yield of 340 acre-feet. <br />The District's water system includes a total storage capacity of <br />5.25 million gallons, of which 2.50 million gallons are for raw <br />water and 2.75 million gallons are for treated water. The only <br />treatment of the water supply is chlorination. The entire water <br />supply system has been developed since the year 1963. <br /> <br />4. Transmission Lines <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The Fountain Valley Conduit and lateral will share approximately <br />18 miles of rights-of-way with. existing overhead transmission lines. <br />(See Figure 11-8 Existing Utility Corridor.) The companies involved <br />are Southern Colorado Power, a Division of Central Telephone and <br />Utilities Company; Public Service Company, and Colorado Springs <br />Municipal Power. The existing line paralleling the conduit will <br />be tapped for operating the conduit pumps. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />11-18 <br />
