Total repayment received through <br />Fiscal Year 1984 amounts to nearly $259 <br />million, which is about 23 percent of the <br />$1,16 billion plant-in-service and more than <br />4 percent of the $4.4 billion projected total <br />reimbu rsable Federal investment in the <br />authorized storage units and participating <br />projects, In addition to the amount applied <br />to repayment of the reimbursable invest- <br />ment, the project earned revenues suffi- <br />cient to pay all operating costs, replace- <br />ment costs, and current reimbursable <br />interest costs. Operating costs of partici- <br />pating projects which have been turned <br />over to the water conservancy districts for <br />operation were paid by the respective <br />conservancy districts, More than 26 percent <br />of the projected Federal investment was <br />in service as of the end of the Fiscal Year. <br /> <br />Power sales produced nearly 97 percent <br />of the net revenues during Fiscal Year 1984, <br />All of these power revenues were applied <br />toward the power investment in the storage <br />units, Over one-third or 37 percent of the <br />
