<br />Dam, 1.3 miles upstream from Percha diversion dam, and 3 miles northeast of Arrey. Datum
<br />of gage is 4,140.9 ft above mean sea level, datum of 1929. October 13, 1938 to December 31.
<br />1945 at datum 5.0 ft higher.

<br />Drainare area.--30,700 sq mi, approximately (includes 2,940 sq mi in closed basin in San Luis
<br />Val ey, Colo.).
<br />Average discharge.--36 years (1938-73) 868 cfs (628,900 acre~ft per year).
<br />Extremes.--1938-73: Maximum daily diSCharge, 7,650 cfs May 20, 1942; minimum daily, 0.1 cfs

<br />Remarks.--Ditch diverts directly from Caballo Reservoir for irrigation of lands on right
<br />bank of river. The total release from Project Storage, as used in computations of
<br />Compact Commission, is the combined flow of this ditch and Rio Grande below Cahallo Dam.
