<br />n <br />~.t:> <br />1:.... <br />C""J <br />':) <br /> <br />26 <br /> <br />RIO GRANDE COMPACT COMMISSION REPORT <br /> <br />RECORDS OF DELIVERIES AND RELEASES <br /> <br />c~, <br /> <br />At the annual meeting of the Compact Commission on March 28, 1974, <br />the records of deliveries and releases for calendar year 1973 were <br />examined and the computations of debits and credits based thereon were <br />reviewed. The records and computations as reviewed by the Commission <br />are reproduced on the next three pages. <br /> <br />The delivery of water in the Rio Grande at the Colorado-New Mexico <br />State line was obtained from record of streamflow near Lobatos, <br />Colorado; the obligation of Colorado to deliver water at the State line <br />was computed as prescribed in Article III. Item C5, the Reduction of <br />Debits prescribed in Article VI, was computed in accordance with the <br />Rules and Regulations. <br /> <br />The delivery of water by New Mexico to Project Storage was <br />computed from the actual streamflow record and the record of operation <br />of Elephant Butte Reservoir; the scheduled delivery was computed as <br />prescribed in the Resolution of the Commission adopted at the Tenth <br />Annual Meeting, and published in this report. Item NM5, Reduction of <br />Credits by Evaporation, was computed in accordance with the Rules and <br />Regulations. Item NM6, Revisions 1972, is in accordance with <br />Article VI. <br /> <br />The actual release from Project Storage during the year was <br />measured at stations below Caballo Darn. The Accrued Departure from <br />Normal Release is an under-release but is omitted in accordance with <br />a decision of the Commission at the meeting on February IS, 1968. <br /> <br />
