The report describes the actuaJ operation for water year 2000, for <br />the reservoirs along the Colorado River, constructed under the authority of the Colorado River <br />Storage Project Act and the Boulder Canyon Project Act. <br /> <br />The report also contains a projected plan of operation for water year 200 t. That plan was <br />prepared in late 2000 and is based on the most probable runoff conditions. The plan will be <br />modified if necessary as the year progresses due to any changes in runoff conditions The Bureau <br />of Reclamation wiU keep represenrari-"es ofehe Colorado River Basin States, Indian tribes and <br />other appropriate entities informed of any changes in the 200 I operating plan through the <br />Colorado Rjver Management Work Group_ <br /> <br />The reservOIr and river operations are kept in full compliance with the flood control regulations <br />established by the Army Corps of Engineers and with the HCriteria for Coordinated Long-Range <br />Operation of Colorado River Reservoirs," issued by the Secretary of the Interior on June 4, 1970, <br />in accordance with sect~on 602, Public Law 90-537. <br /> <br />Sincerely, <br /> <br />~~~ <br /> <br />Enclosure <br />
