Goal:

1. To determine if water quality (i.e. problems with selenium and
other inorganic contaminants) at restored sites will be conducive
to supporting razorback sucker during their various life stages.

B. Objectives:

1. To determine the flows necessary to reduce elevated concentrations
of selenium to acceptable concentrations in water and food
organisms and still maintain habitat that is attractive to and
suitable for endangered fish.

2. To determine if concentrations of selenium and other inorganic
contaminants that are bioaccumulated by razorback sucker adults
placed in restored backwater habitat have an adverse affect on
their reproductive success.

3. To determine survival, growth and bioaccumulation of selenium in
razorback sucker larvae that are placed into restored backwater
habitats.
