Colorado Chapter Hosts Regional
ABPA Backf10w Prevention Conference

The Colorado Chapter of the American Backflov.' Pre-
vention Association is hosting a regional conference and
trade show featuring services and products for the cross
cormection control industry. The conference will take
place on Monday, August 17, 1992,goOOa.m. to 5,00 p.m.
at Red Rocks Commwlity College, 13300 W. 6th Ave.,
Lakewood, CO.
Seminars will be conducted throughout the day, with
local and nationally-known speakers from our industrv.
Seminar topics will include regional and national re\'ie~v
of the current industry, revie\-\' and changes by the State
Health Department, current UPC changes and updates,
Region 8 ErA induding the new confined entry regs.

There will also be two options for the last hour of the

products and services available to testers, wa-
ter purveyors, plumbing contractors, and end
users.
The conference is being held in conjt1f'V:tion
with the national directors' meeting taking place
the day before the conference. All members
and interested parties are encouraged to attend
this event as a show of support for the organi-
zation and the Colorado Chapter.
Applications for membership in the Colo-
rado Chapter and the national organizations of
American Backflow Prevention Associations
will be available at the conference.
"This is the Colorado Chapter's first major
event and our chance to take a prominent posi-
tion within this industry nationwide. Your en-
