<br />I, <br /> <br />The summer storage season began at 0001 hours April 1, 1991. <br />Transfer of 28,250.81 acre-feet of winter conservation storage into the <br />Section" accounts began on April 1, 1991 in accordance with the <br />Operation Plan and was completed on April 14, 1991. Conservation <br />storage operations are detailed in Table 5. During the period April 1 to <br />15, 1,852.40 acre-feet of summer conservation storage was <br />accumulated. After a reduction for evaporation this water was also <br />distributed to the Section "accounts. Kansas received 40% of the <br />April conservation storage transfers 111,966.87 acre-feet) and the <br />Colorado District 67 ditches received 60% 117,950.32 acre,feetl. With <br />moderate runoff there were no flood control operations during Compact <br />Year 1991, as reflected in Table 5A, Flood Pool Operations. Peak <br />contents in JMR of 70,297 acre-feet was reached on March 31, 1991. <br /> <br />On July 2, 1991 a three day period of high runoff resulted in additional <br />summer inflow of 5,665.73 acre-feet to conservation storage. After <br />reduction for evaporation, 5,652.86 acre-feet was subsequently <br />transferred to the Section " accounts, Kansas receiving 40% - <br />2,261.15 acre-feet, and Colorado District 67 ditches 60% - 3,391. 71 <br />acre-feet.
