<br />002527 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S MONTHLY REPORT <br />TO THE <br />COLORADO RIVER BOARD OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />Mav 6. 2003 <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATION <br /> <br />Proposed FY 03/04 Budget of the Colorado River Board <br /> <br />As I reported to you last month, the Assembly Budget Subcommittee No, 3 on Resources held <br />a hearing, on March 19th, on various agency budgets, including the Colorado River Board, The CRE 's <br />budget was pulled from the consent calendar due to the lack of any budget reduction in the proposed <br />expenditures, The Committee requested that I return at a later date to explain why the CRE's budget <br />should not be reduced, consistent with other slate agencies. To date, another hearing time has not been <br />scheduled, <br /> <br />In the State Senate, Budget and Fiscal Review Subcommittee No, 2 continues to have the CRE 's <br />budget as a consent agenda item, <br /> <br />A copy ofCRB's proposed budget as contained in the Governor's Budget will be distributed <br />at the Board meeting.
