A second method was to send people <br />to Washington to lobby for the bill who were very influential, <br />suoh as the Governor of Colorado, Chairman of the National Demo- <br /> <br />cratio Committee o~ Republioan Committee, retires Congressmen, <br /> <br /> <br />President of the League of Women Voters or any person who had the <br /> <br /> <br />power to see a Congressman personally and speak knowledgably <br /> <br /> <br />on the Fry-Ark Project. The third method was to keep a oareful <br /> <br /> <br />tabulation or reoord of the votes of the Congressmen and how <br /> <br /> <br />they had voted in certain years concerning the projeot.
