" <br /> <br />0663 <br /> <br />Ir..troduction <br /> <br />The following transcripts are interviews with people <br />who have had an aotive interest and/or knowledge of the history <br />of the Fryingpan-Arkansas Projeot. <br />These people interviewed were seleoted by the Histor- <br />ioal Committee of the Southeastern Colorado Water Conservancy <br />Distriot for their expertise in their fields and knowledge of <br />past events and also so as to give the topic as wide a range <br />of views as possible. The number of people interviewed was lim- <br />ited by the Historioal Committee in the interest of saving time. <br />money, and limiting the repetition of material. <br />These transoripts are arranged alphabetioally and the <br />following page is a Table of Contents whioh lists the person <br />interviewed and the pages upon whioh his interview is reoorded. <br />Ms. D~Void Burris oonduoted all interviews with the <br />exoeption of two people. One interview was oonduoted by Charles <br />~~mson, the other by Terence Braoe. <br />The members of the Historioal Committee are; George E. <br />Everett. Chairman, Charles J. Beise. E. DuVoid Burris, Harold <br />H. Christy, Roy D. Cooper (Mr. Cooper has reoently passed away) <br />Robert Evans, Frank S. H.ag Jr., Thomas W. MoCurdy and Charles L. <br />Tbomson. <br />
