,
what might be done about it. How to go about setting up another printing
run would be a problem, unless money could be obtained from the Water
Resources Council, which may not be impossible. It was agreed the
Executive Secretary would make a survey of PSIAC Members regarding
the Framework Studies.

Mr. Macias, Department of the Interior. As you know, I have the
library for the PSIAC for reports published on various matters by the
Technical Subcommittees. In addition I have two sets of the "Framework
Studies," a file set and a loan set. The loan set has been loaned out
several times and luckily it has been returned each time. However, a
letter is required which stipulates the condition of the loan. Our
loan set could be Set Number One on the list.

3. Approval of Minutes

The minutes of the 77-3 meeting had been distributed some time before
this meeting. It was moved and seconded that the minutes of the 77-3
meeting be approved as distributed. They were approved by a voice vote.

4. Report on Water Resources Council Activities

No one from the Water Resources Council was present to give a report
on its activities.

5, Progress Report on the 1975 National Water Assessment

Upper Colorado Region

No one was present to report on the activities in the Upper Colorado
Region.

Lower Colorado Region

Mr. Dean F. Johanson, Study Director for this region reported. Our
report is fairly general for the south most region. The Region has
completed their Regional Reports, a series of four Technical Memorandums.
We printed quite a number of ours because our experience was with the
first three each time I would increase the printing and the demand would
grow and I would be very quickly out of each of the Technical Memorandums
or before I met the demand, So we printed something like 500 of the
Summary Report. It's kind of like the Framework Studies when they
discovered that they are available and they are a source of information
for the 208 studies, consultants and a wide range of people want them,
The Water Resources Council sent out the first draft of their National
Report only to the Study Directors for their review at the first of the
year. We went through the data that they had provided and checked through

B-2
