and that diversion records of ditohes in Colorado, used by Kansas, wer~ tak-
en from tabulations appearing in a Colorado report known as the "Patte'rson
Plan," for operating the irrigation pool in Caddoa Reservoir, and administer-
ing rights in the Arkansas River affeoted by such reservoir operations, in
aocordance with the Opinion of the United States Supreme Court entered Dec-
ember 6, 1943 in the case of Colorado and Kansas, after which Opinion, - all
pending interstate litigation having been terminated, - this Commission came
into being.

6. Since the plan of reservoir operation assumed in the Kansas-"Caddoa
Reservoir Studies" differs from operation plans heretofore prepnred by Colo-
rado, and since the terms used and results calculated and reported by Kansas
are also different, it may facilitate this discussicn to summarize oertain
streamrlow and diversion records, for the study period 1908-1938 used by
Kansas. Same of the basic data appearing in the following tabulation appear
to have been used by Kansas. All the referenoe data are available from the
eame general souroes of information outlined in the preoeding paragraph, -
partioularly Colorado Exhibits 204-222, introduoed by Colorado in the above
mentioned oase.
