<br />review of the legal and institutional considerations which have <br /> <br />and will govern the development and management of water and <br /> <br />related land resources. <br /> <br />The third phase of the planning activities will be to <br /> <br />determine the best manner by which water requirements for the <br /> <br />projected distribution of population and economic activites might <br /> <br />be met with supplies available to the state under existing inter- <br /> <br />state agreements and court decrees. This phase will also present <br /> <br />alternative plans for full utilization of the state's water <br /> <br />resources and evaluate the projected plans in terms of impact on <br /> <br />state, regional and national economy, enhancement of the social <br /> <br />well-being and quality of environment, and improvement in water <br /> <br />management and practices. <br /> <br />The report on the Colorado state Water Plan is scheduled <br /> <br />to be completed in fiscal year 1974. <br /> <br />DESCRIPTION OF WORK ITEMS <br /> <br />Biblioqraphy and Inventory of Available Data <br /> <br />This phase of the study will consist of the assembly <br /> <br />of all available data relevant to the determination of the potential <br /> <br />development of the state's water and related land resources. with <br /> <br />this compilation, it will be possible to utilize existing relevant <br /> <br />studies already accomplished, or under way, by federal, state, local, <br /> <br />educational or private sources.
