In addition, <br />Diablo Canyon 1 (1084 MW) and San Onofre 2 (1100 MW) Nuclear Units which <br />were to be placed in service in 1981' have again been delayed and will not <br />be placed in service until 1982. <br /> <br />As of December 31, 1981 the WSCC interconnected bulk pDwer <br />system was comprised of 93,553 circuit miles of transmission. Seven of the twelve disturbances occurred in the <br />Northwest Power Pool Area, two in the Rocky Mountain Power Area, one in <br />the Arizona-New Mexico Power Area, and two in the California-Nevada Power <br />Area. WSCC's goal of preventing widespread outages and minimizing the <br />duration of each outage was accomplished during 1981.
