<br />O[;~212 <br /> <br />Wilderness Boundary Description <br />Within the monument i" sec. 32, T.1N., R.l0W., the wilderness <br />boundary proceeds generally 1/8 mile from and parallel to the <br />monument border for about 7 miles, to a point on the east rim of <br />Columbus Canyon. It then follows the rim of Columbus and Red <br />Canyons for about 3% miles, where it continues westerly to a <br />location on the rim of Ute Canyon. The wilderness boundary then <br />extends for about 10 miles around the rim of Monument Mesa. It <br />turns north 1/8 mile from the west line of sec. 31, proceeds 3/4 <br />mile to the west rim of Monument Canyon, and follows this rim <br />about 6 miles to the place where it began. <br /> <br />16 <br />
