The "why's" and <br /> <br />''what's'' of these BMPs will be discussed at an Infonnational Breakfast to be held Tuesday, June <br /> <br />6,2000, beginning at 6:30 am at Tasty House Cafe, 215 East Colorado (Hwy 50) in Holly, CO. <br /> <br />Dr. Luis Garcia, Colorado State University Bioresource Engineering, and Jim Valliant, <br /> <br />CSU Cooperative Extension, will discuss the demonstration work they are <br /> <br />doing with several cooperators on surface and subsurface drainage, the use <br /> <br />:~ <br /> <br />17~~ <br /> <br />of PAM (polyacrylamides) in com and to reduce dirt ditch seepage, <br /> <br />draghoses vs sprinklers and Ionized air on center pivots, VERIS salinity <br /> <br />mapping and water quality sampling. <br /> <br />Colorado State Unive~sity.
