These comments will <br />be helpful to the Framework Update Committee in formulating its recommendations <br />relative to the work agreement that remains to be worked out between MRBC and <br />WRC by February 1, 1975. As previously agreed, the Framework Update Committee <br />is planning to meet sometime during the first week of October to discuss this <br />matter among others. <br /> <br />In reviewing the Plan of Study, I suggest that you also review the copy <br />you have of Chairman Neuberger's letter of August 26, 1974, to Director Fairchild, <br />WRC, relating to a I'equested increase in allocation of funds to MRBC for its <br />collective efforts in the regional assessment. As implied in the letter, the <br />effective participation of the states in carrying out the assessment is urgently <br />needed in order for the MRBC regional assessment to have maximum impact in <br />influencing the national priorities analysis. <br /> <br />~lwt.:LcIL~Jr"~--- <br /> <br />Nicholas L.
