<br />B. Public Information and Comment Forums. A public information forum is <br />scheduled at the following location and time: <br /> <br />Hotel Utah <br />South Temple and Main <br />Salt Lake City, UT <br /> <br />November 20, 1986, 1:00 p.m. <br /> <br />At this forum, Western representatives will explain the proposed rate and <br />will answer questions. Questions that Western representatives do not answer at <br />the forum will be answered in writing at least 15 days before the end of the <br />consultation and comment period. <br /> <br />A public comment forum is scheduled at the following location and time. <br /> <br />Hotel Utah <br />South Temple and Main <br />Salt Lake City, UT <br /> <br />December 18, 1986, 8:30 p.m. <br /> <br />At this forum, interested persons may submitted written comments or <br />orally present their views. <br /> <br />C. Written Comments. Interested persons may submit written comments at <br />any time during the consultation and comment period. Comments should be <br />addressed to the following: <br /> <br />Mr. Lloyd Greiner, Area Manager <br />Western Area Power Administration <br />Department of Energy <br />P.O. Box 11606 <br />Salt Lake City, UT 84147 <br /> <br />D. Review of Comments. After the consultation and comment period, <br />Western will review the information presented and the comments received, and <br />may develop a revised proposed rate. If the Administrator of Western <br />determines that further pUblic comment should be invited, at least 30 days will <br />be afforded interested persons to submit additional written comments regarding <br />the revised proposed rate. <br /> <br />E. Decision on Proposed or Revised Proposed Rate. Following the end of <br />the consultation and comment period and the end of any other subsequent comment <br />periods, the Administrator of Western may develop a rate, which, in the <br />judgment of the Under Secretary of DOE, should be confirmed, approved, and <br />placed in effect on an interim basis. The decision will be announced to the <br />public, along with an explanation of the principal factors leading to the <br />decision. <br /> <br />2 <br />
