We <br />will not repeat the position~ you have received in the <br />comment letter from the Irriiation and Electrical <br />Districts Association. Nor ~ill we repeat the comments <br />submitted by the Colorado Ri~er Energy Distributors <br />Association. We have reviewed 'and endorse the comments <br />submitted by both of those associations. We are <br />',.rri ting to you today, however, not only to support the <br />comments that have been filed] by these associations, <br />but to emphasize that our Dis~rict is ready, willing <br />and anxious to discuss with ybu the possibility for <br />flexibility in the supplying bf power and energy to the <br />District from CRSP. ' <br /> <br />We are interested in the discussion you had with the <br />CREDA Marketing Committee on acquiring additional <br />capacity in water short years, We are also interested <br />in the acquisition of power o~herwise earmarked for <br />later federal project use. I~ short, you will find our <br />District ready to discuss with you at any time the items <br />related to renewal of contracts for CRSP power.
