<br />. In. Decen:iber, 1942, a report was made as' to progress on the
<br />. Neosho river basin unit of the State .Plan of WarerResources De-
<br />. vel opm ent. At that time it was contemplated that this part of the
<br />plan would be completed within the following biemiium.. It has not
<br />been possible, however; to accomplish this for the re~son that many
<br />of the, men engaged on this work e~tered into service of the armed
<br />forces of the United Sl;Rtes a.:iJd others qualified to replace them
<br />havenotheen available; Some further work has 'been done on the.
<br />plan ,and consideration hils been given. to proposed water develop-
<br />ment projects in various other parts of the state. Many of them
<br />'- have been examined in only: a preliminary way, some have' been
<br />studiedinmored~tail, and a fewwliich'had preViouBly been'recom-
<br />mended by the War Department have been authori'zed by Congress
<br />forconstru!ltion. The purpose. of this report is to indicate the loca-
<br />. tioll and 6haracterofthe pr<!posed projects and ,to summarize tbeir
