APPLXCATIOH POR NEW ~TER RIGHT <br />1. NAME OF STRUCTURES: <br />The Pioneer Union Ditch, Lakewood Enlargement. <br />2. POINTS OF DIVERSION: <br />The location of the point of diversion for the <br />Pioneer union Ditch is described above. <br />3. PLACE OF STORAGE: Golf course ponds located on <br />the golf course in sections 31, 32, and 33 of T. 4 S., R. 69 <br />W. of the 6th P.M. <br />4. SOURCE OF WATER: <br />Bear Creek and its tributaries: Bear Creek is a <br />tributary of the South Platte River. <br />5. APPROPRIATION DATE: <br />On or before July 16, 1990. Lakewood initiated this <br />appropriation by retaining consultants to finalize a water <br />plan for the golf course and by performing other studies and <br />onsite work. Lakewood's city council has adopted a resolution <br />confirming this appropriation. <br />6. AMOUNT: <br />Five cubic feet per second (5 c.f.s.). Lakewood <br />intends to use surplus capacity in the Pioneer union Ditch or <br />otherwise enlarge it to perfect this appropriation. When <br />Lakewood is not using this water by direct flow, Lake~ood will <br />divert the water for storage in six or more golf course ponds <br />described above in an amount not to exceed 60 acre-feet, with <br /> <br />-9- <br />
